PALEOTREK 2006
The vertebrae from 2005 were associated with some ribs and part of the pelvis. The material appears to be Triceratops. The brow horn from 2005 was indeedattached to the skull along with the other brow horn and parietal. It was the top of the skull from an adult Triceratops and turned upside down. Located nearby and in the same layer we found our first T.-rex; a sub-adult. Better yet, included with it were some bones from what appears to be a Torosaurus, a type of horned dinosaur closely related to a Triceratops. These specimens are in the lowest part of the Hell Creek Formation and may be among the first of their types.
